I’m Kasia Michalik, founder of Inked Owl Creative, a climate communicator and sustainability educator dedicated to elevating diverse voices in the environmental movement. With a background in journalism, marketing, and sustainability education, I bridge the gap between climate action and inclusive storytelling to drive systemic change.
Why Equity Matters in Sustainability
Sustainability must be inclusive. Climate change disproportionately impacts low-income communities, communities of color, and underrepresented voices, yet these communities are often left out of key conversations and decision-making processes. My work ensures that diverse perspectives are not just acknowledged but are at the forefront of environmental solutions.
I believe that true climate resilience can only happen when everyone—regardless of income, race, or background—has access to the education, resources, and opportunities needed to advocate for their own well-being and the health of their communities. Through my work in storytelling, education, and strategic communication, I help individuals and organizations amplify their impact, foster climate literacy, and drive meaningful action.
